Redesigned website of the National Bank of Serbia

We expect that all users, both general public and economic experts, will benefit from the redesigned website of the National Bank of Serbia that will enable much faster and more user-friendly access to a pool of useful information.
The new website places emphasis on information in greatest demand which is now to be provided by a newly introduced INFO SERVICE. This service will display lists of all financial market participants, databases and registries, financial statements for 2006, code lists as well as all press releases from the Monetary Policy Council meetings, statements issued at press conferences, presentations, interviews and speeches given by the NBS management.
The website is further upgraded by introducing news channels classified by the main area of NBS activity and the option of downloading news via RSS. GPRS service users already have access to exchange rate listings and the directory of basic data on financial market participants.
The new website also contains the latest news and the most frequently asked questions on selected areas of activity as well as a glossary of terms prepared by the NBS experts. The contents of this site will be regularly updated, so as to keep pace with all innovations in our financial system! The newly introduced search mechanisms will secure easy access to the requested data and information in the shortest possible time.
To further educational role of the NBS, a set of new site segments have been developed – Consumer Protection Centre (which also comprises the NBS Call Centre) aimed to inform the public about financial products and services and the Visitor Centre intended to raise the general level of understanding of the central bank’s role through its exhibition and educational activities.

In order to be able to use GPRS services, your mobile phone should support this technology and you need to activate the GPRS service with your operator.

You can access the content of the National Bank of Serbia website via mobile phones from the address www.nbs.rs/wap. The following content adapted for use via GPRS service is available at present:
