Within the “Days of the National Bank of Serbia”, tour of visits to Serbian towns, on Monday, 30 November, governor Jelašić held meetings with the local government officials of the city of Užice, members of the business community and media. Later in the afternoon (5 pm), he opened the exhibition "Money in the Territory of Serbia - Selection from the Numismatic Collection of the National Bank of Serbia" in the Užice National Museum.

The exhibition illustrates the development and role of money in the territory of Serbia, from the earliest to the most recent issues, and is part of the standing exhibition of the NBS Visitor Centre.

It will run in Užice until 15 December in parallel with the NBS financial education programme for local primary- and secondary-school pupils.
