First Belgrade Research Seminar at NBS
The first international “Belgrade Research Seminar” will be held on Friday, 25 May, at 1 p.m., under the auspices of the NBS and the Belgrade Faculty of Economics, in accordance with the Memorandum of Cooperation about joint organisation of economics and finance seminars, recently signed by NBS Governor Jorgovanka Tabaković and Dean of the Faculty of Economics Branislav Boričić.
The seminar titled “Input-Output Networks and Producer Price Inflation Connectedness” will be held by Kamil Yilmaz, full professor of economics at Istanbul Koç University and one of the leading world authors in the field of network connectedness modelling. He co-authored the widely applied Diebold-Yilmaz connectedness index, which measures the intensity of connections between entities, such as banks, insurance undertakings or stock markets. He has published a number of papers in leading journals such as the Journal of Finance, Economic Journal, Journal of Econometrics, Journal of Business and Economic Statistics.
