Performance of RTGS and Clearing System and Interbank Clearing of Foreign Exchange Payments in December 2011

In the course of 22 business days in December 2011, a total of 18.6 mln payments were processed in the NBS RTGS (12.6 mln or 67.9%) and clearing system (6 mln or 32.1%) The average number of payments was 847,147 per day, of which 574,837 in RTGS and 272,310 in clearing.
  
The value of turnover in the RTGS system amounted to RSD 3,383 bln, while clearing turnover reached RSD 44.5 bln or 1.3% of the total. Daily turnover in the RTGS and clearing system averaged RSD 153.8 bln and RSD 2 bln, respectively.

A total of 3,696 payments worth EUR 30,777,961.13 were processed in the interbank clearing of foreign exchange payments.

As there was no downtime during 12,000 minutes of production, availability of the NBS RTGS and clearing system was 100%.
