Invitation to Conference “E-Commerce in Serbia – a Safe Path for Online Purchases”

We are pleased to invite you to the conference E-Commerce in Serbia – A Safe Path for Online Purchases, which will take place on 1 June 2017 at the National Bank of Serbia.

The conference is organised by the National Bank of Serbia and payment service providers that enable online payments using payment cards in the Republic of Serbia.

The conference aims to inform the general public of e-commerce advantages, obstacles that traders face, factors affecting success of traders in e-commerce, and seeks to promote safe and secure online payments using payment cards.

There will be five panel discussions during which you will get the chance to hear opinions and experiences of traders, representatives of the IT industry, commercial banks and the National Bank of Serbia.

Representatives of big companies and SMEs, IT legal experts, e-commerce experts, executive board members and department managers from commercial banks and the National Bank of Serbia have confirmed participation in panel discussions.

The following panel discussions are planned to take place:

  • “E-Commerce as a Competitive Advantage” – moderated by Dragana Stanić, (general manager of the Payment System Department – National Bank of Serbia)
  • “Is E-Commerce a Major Problem for Small Traders?” – moderated by Slobodan Marković (advisor for ICT policy and internet community relations at the Serbian National Internet Domain Registry)
  • “What do I Need for an E-Retailer?” – moderated by Žarko Ptiček (IT lawyer – Ptiček d.o.o. Beograd)
  • “Large, Efficient and Available to All” – moderated by Miloš Radulović (e-commerce manager – Banca Intesa a.d. Beograd)
  • “Tweets and Facts” – moderated by Aleksandar Birovljev (serial entrepreneur and e-commerce expert – Gampo d.o.o. Beograd)

Date and time: 1 June 2017, starting at 9.30 am.

Place: National Bank of Serbia, Nemanjina 17, Belgrade (entrance from the park Manjež)
