In order to enable the payout of cash on account of pensions to the elderly, the NBS has instructed banks to ensure all of their branches and branch offices continue to operate during the coming weekend as well (Saturday and Sunday of 28 and 29 March), maintaining the same working hours as on previous working days. Banks will also continue to contact users asking them to select a manner of pension payout.
To support banks’ activity regarding pension payout during the weekend, the public postal operator Pošta Srbije will also ensure that its business units are open and employees at their stations over the weekend.
The NBS is thankful to all employees in banks and the public postal operator who work hard to ensure the smooth delivery of payment services to our elderly citizens and other users.
