In the course of 20 business days in May 2009, a total of 15.4 million of payments worth RSD 2,186 billion were processed in the NBS RTGS and clearing system. Of this, clearing turnover came to RSD 41.1 billion or 1.88%. Average daily turnover was RSD 109.3 billion, while the average number of payments amounted to 769,078 per day, of which 491,162 were RTGS and 277,916 clearing payments.
Of total 15.4 million of processed interbank payments, 5.6 million or 36.14% were clearing and 9.8 million or 63.86% RTGS orders. The daily average value of clearing payments equalled RSD 2.1 billion.
A total of 868 payments worth EUR 3,524,751.66 were processed in the interbank clearing of foreign exchange payments.
As there was no downtime during 10,830 minutes of production, availability of the NBS RTGS and clearing system was 100%.
