During the traditional food collecting campaign “Humaneness against Hunger”, run on 13 and 14 October, NBS employees collected and donated two tons of food for preparing warm and cold meals for over 1,800 soup kitchen users in Belgrade.
The food relief was delivered to the representatives of the Soup Kitchen of the Serbian Orthodox Church on 15 October, on the premises of the Serbian Orthodox Church Charity Centre in Belgrade, the organisation with which the NBS has organised four charity events over the last four years.
This event continued the tradition of food relief campaigns which the NBS has been organising since 2008 in aid of the most vulnerable in Serbia.
Food relief for the most vulnerable is one of the many traditional humanitarian campaigns of the NBS in the sphere of corporate social responsibility, which is collectivelly supported by its employees.
