The NBS reminds the public that the Transfer service is the simplest way to transfer money from one account to another. All that is required for the transfer is the payee’s telephone number. At this point, this service is available to over three million users of m-banking applications in Serbia.
OTP banka Srbija a.d. Novi Sad, Banca Intesa a.d. Beograd, Raiffeisen banka a.d. Beograd, NLB Komercijalna banka a.d. Beograd, Unicredit bank Srbija a.d. Beograd, AIK banka a.d. Beograd, Erste bank a.d. Novi Sad, Alta banka a.d. Beograd, Halkbank a.d. Beograd, Eurobank Direktna a.d. Beograd, Srpska banka a.d. Beograd, Adriatic bank a.d. Beograd and API bank a.d. Beograd have enabled the Transfer service in their m-banking applications. When users select this option, a form pops up where they enter the amount they wish to transfer and the payee’s telephone number (or the number is selected from the contacts), after which the transaction is executed.
In order for users of m-banking applications to become payees within the Transfer service, they need to register in the application in a few steps. The registration will link their mobile phone number with the account number, and all m-banking app users will then be able to transfer money to their accounts entering their telephone number only, in a matter of seconds. Over 1,000,000 users are currently registered for the Transfer service.
