The National Bank of Serbia decides on licence applications within 30 days. The licence issuing procedure is completed once the NBS issues a decision on granting an operating licence and publishes it in the “RS Official Gazette”. After the new bank is entered in the relevant register, all conditions for the start of its operations will have been met.
The Bank of Moscow, the founder of the bank in Belgrade, is well ranked by renowned international rating agencies (BBB). Its majority shareholder is the City of Moscow. This bank is one of the five largest banks in the Russian Federation, with a balance sheet total of EUR 14.1 billion and capital of EUR 1.2 billion.
