The NBS has launched today a new website: IPS (Instant Payments Serbia) – https://ips.nbs.rs, which will serve as a guide to IPS payments, today’s fastest, safest and state-of-the art payment method.
The new website contains information on the main features and advantages of IPS payments, an overview of IPS participants, instant payment services offered by banks, and brick-and-mortar and online POS where instant payments are possible.
To familiarise the public with instant payment methods and POS available in Serbia, the website also contains detailed information about the functions “IPS Show” “IPS Scan”, “IPS payments online”, “NBS IPS QR code – invoice/bill payments”, and other instant payment methods.
A special page is devoted to merchants and useful guidelines for IPS payments at brick-and-mortar and online POS. Low transaction processing costs and NBS’s price policy should also encourage those merchants with low spreads and low average value of transactions to enable to their buyers this payment method.
For the sake of reminder, the NBS has enabled all business agents to simply create/generate the NBS IPS QR code – by completing the defined elements in relevant fields and to technically verify the validity of the already generated IPS QR codes for bills/invoices through the NBS Generator/Validator.
The page “Statistics” contains a visual overview of important indicators of the NBS IPS system from the moment the system was launched in October 2018.
