In the course of 22 business days in March 2009, a total of 16.2 million interbank payments worth RSD 2,313 billion were processed in the NBS RTGS and clearing system. Of this, clearing turnover stood at RSD 44.7 billion or 1.93%. Average daily turnover equalled RSD 105.2 billion, while the average number of payments was 734,782 per day, of which 461,205 were RTGS and 273,577 clearing payments.
Out of a total of 16.2 million processed interbank payments, 6 million or 37.23% were clearing and 10.1 million or 62.77% RTGS orders.
Average daily value of clearing payments equalled RSD 2 billion.
A total of 785 payments worth EUR 3,511,264.11 were processed in the interbank clearing of foreign exchange payments (23 participants).
As there was no downtime during 11,880 minutes of production, availability of the NBS RTGS and clearing system was 100%.
